Multidisciplinary Artist, Designer, Teacher
With extensive experience in fine arts and design, I bring creativity and passion to deliver exceptional experiences. As a multidisciplinary artist, I've participated in shows, crafted costumes, and performed solo. My diverse projects often defy categorization. As a first-generation immigrant, I've embraced roles in painting, book illustration, graphic design, game programming, animation, and teaching, equipping me to contribute uniquely to any creative endeavor.
In order to invite discovery, creative discourse must bridge multiple areas of interests and fields of study, and I use everything that I know and record. I begin by looking at options, which is different from acting at random; learning to see by thinking and feeling more complexly about visibility…
Irena is a Brooklyn based multidisciplinary teaching artist. She moved to the US from Kiev, Ukraine where she studied Painting. She holds degrees from Shevchenko Art School in Kiev, Pratt Institute, and Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. Irena participated in multiple shows, made costumes for dancers, and performed herself. Irena values the process of artistic creation over production. Her multidimensional interests have produced projects that cross disciplines, and sometimes are difficult to categorize.
